Semi Torr Group, Inc. is a leading sales and distribution company for gas and fluid handling systems and components supporting the High Purity, Sanitary and Industrial markets. Responsible for the physical movement of inbound and outbound shipments. Responsible for all distribution functions. This typically includes shipments to both domestic and possibly international customers, and to distribution centers and locations within the same organization. Make deliveries to customer job sites while adhering to all safety procedures. Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site.

• Performs routine inspection of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.
• Plans route to and from customers' businesses and adjusts for traffic and/or construction.
• Ensures that manifests are complete and accurate.
• Delivers merchandise to customers and contacts customers if they are not present.
• Loads truck with daily merchandise to be delivered and unloads merchandise for customer.
• Pull orders to match manifest.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provides assistance to resolve customer issues. Completes tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.
• Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stacks or piles materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
• Installs protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Verifies computations against physical count of stock.
• Receives and fills orders or sells supplies, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license.
• HS Diploma or GED required; 0–2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude and independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co‑worker and/or supervisor.
• Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on nonroutine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

• Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment).

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required. Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
