NOW HIRING WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE Pflugerville, TX | Fire Alarm & Life Safety Industry TradeSTAR is hiring a Warehouse Associate for an established commercial fire alarm and life safety contractor in Pflugerville, TX! Our client specializes in commercial fire alarm and life safety systems and is looking for a dependable, organized individual to support its internal warehouse operations. This is a warehouse-based position, not a field installation role.

You'll help keep materials, equipment, and supplies organized and ready for technicians working on commercial fire alarm projects throughout the Austin area.

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment
• Pull, stage, and prepare materials for fire alarm installation and service technicians
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory and material records
• Organize fire alarm devices, control panels, cable, conduit, and installation supplies
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and material returns
• Track equipment and materials coming in and out of the warehouse
• Maintain clean, organized shelving and storage areas
• Coordinate material requests with project managers and field technicians
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse documentation
• Support daily warehouse operations and material handling

Experience handling or organizing materials commonly used in commercial fire alarm installations is a plus, including:

• Fire alarm control panels and system components
• Smoke detectors, heat detectors, and duct detectors
• Horn/strobes, pull stations, and notification devices
• Fire alarm cable and low-voltage wiring
• Conduit, fittings, connectors, and mounting hardware
• Power supplies, batteries, and electrical components
• Tools, testing equipment, and installation supplies

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to accurately track and organize inventory
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
• Ability to lift and move warehouse materials safely
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with electrical, fire alarm, security, or low-voltage materials is a plus
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
• Fire alarm installation experience is NOT required!
