In assisted living and memory care, this role also ensures safety, promotes dignity, and supports engagement for residents with cognitive or physical challenges.

• High School Diplomaorequivalent
• Sixmonthsofrelatedexperienceand/ortrainingorequivalentcombinationofeducationand experience
• Appropriate certification,asrequiredbythe state
• Previousexperienceinseniorlivingpreferred
• Attention to detail to administer and accurately record the administration of medications for residentsasprescribedbythephysicianinaccordancewithestablishedpoliciesandprocedures of Sunshine Retirement Living and applicable state/federal regulations
• Demonstratedabilitytocommunicatepolitelyandeffectively(in English),bothverballyandin writing, with residents and staff
• Meetstate-related requirements(ifapplicabletoposition)
• Abilitytoworkinateamsettingandbeapositiveteamplayer
• Maintainapositive,respectful,andprofessionalapproachwithcoworkersandresidents
• Possessexcellentcustomerandorganizationalskills
• Abilitytoworkundertimeconstraintswithlittlesupervisionandmeetdepartmentdeadlines
• Training or willingness to train in dementia care practices, including redirection, validation, and behavioral support techniques
• Satisfactorily pass Sunshine's and state-regulated criminal record clearance, health screening and
• TB clearance (if applicable)

• Assistinkeepingtheenvironmentsafeandhappyforresidents
• Implement elopement-prevention and other safety measures specific to memory care residents
• Immediatelyrespondtoresidentemergencies;providefirstaidassistance;debriefanddocument incident following company procedures
• Accurately document medication administration, care provided, and observations in electronic health records per company policy
• Performsotherdutiesasassignedby Supervisor
