Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee maintenance operations in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, managing maintenance personnel, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage daily maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
- Supervise and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure equipment uptime and reliability to support production schedules
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs and maintenance schedules
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and external contractors
- Support equipment installation, launches, and capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and maintenance costs

- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proven experience leading and developing maintenance teams
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to support off-shift or weekend maintenance activities as needed
- Automotive manufacturing experience (assembly, welding, metal fabrication)
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or TPM principles
- OSHA or safety-related certifications
