Position: Floater

Location: Philadelphia, Neshoba County, MS

Work Hours:

7 hours/day, Work Year: 10 months/year

• Minimum requirement:
  High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Preferred: CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. as needed.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, stand, and sit on floor with children for extended periods without complications.

• At least one year working with young children in a preschool setting, public school system, or as a non-paid volunteer in the PRVO Head Start or Early Head Start Program.

• Under the direction of the Teacher, assist with organizing the classroom and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Assist with ongoing observations, assessments, referrals, and sharing information with the teacher on each child's progress.
• Assist in planning and implementing classroom activities based on individual child needs.
• Conduct other duties as assigned for successful program implementation.
