• Master's Degree or Bachelor's of Science equivalent

• Leadership and staff management:
  Supervise, hire, train, and provide professional development for all staff members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Program oversight:
  Ensure the implementation of high-quality early education, health, and family services while ensuring all activities align with Head Start Performance Standards and other regulations.
• Compliance:
  Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including those related to child care licensing and funding requirements.
• Budget and finance:
  Manage the center's budget, including financial reporting, and secure funding to ensure the program's sustainability.
• Family and community engagement:
  Collaborate with families to support their role as the primary educators of their children and build relationships with community partners and organizations.
• Strategic planning:
  Conduct needs assessments, develop strategic plans, and oversee program evaluation to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Administrative tasks:
  Maintain accurate records and oversee daily administrative duties, such as enrollment, attendance, and facility maintenance.
