As an Accounts Receivable Specialist Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Review open customer balances, investigate discrepancies, and help resolve aged receivables to improve account accuracy.

- Conduct outbound communication with clients regarding overdue invoices, payment status, and collection follow-up in a clear and courteous manner.

- Apply incoming payments accurately and update account records to reflect daily cash activity.

- Support billing-related tasks by verifying invoice details and addressing issues that may delay payment.

- Reconcile customer accounts and research unapplied cash, short payments, and other exceptions.

- Maintain thorough documentation of collection efforts, payment arrangements, and account updates.

- Use Net Suite to monitor receivable transactions, track account status, and assist with reporting needs.

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist candidate will have:

- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a closely related accounting support role.

- Practical experience with collections in a commercial business environment.

- Working knowledge of cash applications, billing processes, and daily cash activity tracking.

- Ability to manage outbound calls and written follow-up with customers regarding outstanding payments.

- Experience using Net Suite for receivables, account review, or transaction management.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies effectively.

- Clear communication skills and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple accounts.
