Associate Director, Payroll and Equity responsible for leading payroll and equity administration at a clinical-stage biopharma company, supporting a fast-growth environment focused on post-bariatric hypoglycemia, Wolfram syndrome, and ALS.
Responsibilitiesmanage multi-state payroll processing via ADP, ensure compliance with federal/state laws, reconcile payroll, and oversee controls; administer equity programs, support SEC reporting, and maintain accurate records in Share works and Computershare; collaborate with HR, Legal, Accounting, and external vendors; support high-growth public company reporting and compliance.
RequirementsBachelor's in relevant field or equivalent experience; 8+ years multi-state payroll experience with ADP; 3+ years equity administration support in public companies; strong knowledge of payroll/tax regulations, internal controls, and Microsoft Excel; excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferredcertifications like CPP or CEP; experience with Share works, Computershare, Net Suite; biotech or pharma industry experience.
Work setupremote within the US with occasional travel to Cambridge, MA; no applicants from certain states.
Compensation$163,000–$183,000 USD.
