- Active Pennsylvania Medical License: Required (must be active due to immediate need)
- Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology: Required
- Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship: Required
- DEA License: Required
- ACLS: Required
- PALS: Required
- Coverage Structure:
- Daytime inpatient coverage
- Night call coverage
- Call Schedule:
- Inpatient and night call typically bundled during the same week
- Coverage provided 7 days per week during assigned week
- Call Type: In-House
- Required Call Response Time: 15 minutesClinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient rounding (assigned and unassigned patients)
- Outpatient clinic coverage
- Bronchoscopy procedures
- Phone consults (approximately 4 per day)
- Occasional ICU consults (not exclusively ICU-based)
- Pediatric Pulmonology service
- Mix of inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and consultative care
