Position Description
Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract Special Education Teacher for the school year.

Immediately - May 25, 2024 - Onsite or Virtual:
On-Site - Full or Part Time:
Full Time - Schedule:
35-37.5 hours/week; 7:15AM-3:15PM - Grade/Age Levels: 8th-Grade
- Caseload description:
Coverage of two LOAs; combination of push-in with co-teaching and also small groups for reading; they use Read-180 Program; no behavior concerns.

- Hourly pay is based on national averages and will vary based on location, experience, qualifications and local or travel positions.

The minimum qualifications for a Special Education Teacher:
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
