Registered Behavior Technician - Philadelphia, PA

Exciting contract opportunities are available for Registered Behavior Technicians who are passionate about supporting students in school settings. These full-time positions (35 hours per week) begin as soon as possible and run through June 10, 2027. Multiple openings are available: three at an elementary site supporting an Autistic Support classroom (K-2), and two at a middle school site where male RBT candidates are requested.

All roles are onsite and require adaptability for changing needs and environments.

Key

Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification required candidates must maintain certification independently as district supervision may not be available
• Previous experience working in school-based settings is essential
• Skilled in supporting SPED and behaviorally challenged students
• Demonstrated ability to work with assigned caseload and adapt to varied needs
• Comfortable working in urban school environments
• Must be able to obtain/complete PA clearances
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong references must be provided
• For select positions, male RBT candidates are preferred (Toby Farms Middle School)
• Only RBTs will be considered; paraprofessionals do not qualify

Responsibilities:

• Support classroom management and instructional programs aligned with Applied Behavior Analysis
• Collect data, implement behavior intervention plans, and collaborate with educational teams
• Adapt to classroom or student needs as they evolve
• Foster positive, supportive environments for elementary or middle school SPED students

Additional Details:

• All candidates will undergo a brief Zoom interview (15 minutes)
• Candidates must specify which position they are applying for and be prepared to provide RBT certification upfront
• Only a limited number of applicants will be reviewed at a time to ensure thorough consideration
