* Experience working with 4160
VAC/1000
VDC or higher
* Knowledge of device characteristics, gate driving circuit design, thermal design, topologies, modulation schemes, control strategies in Medium Voltage Power Converters
* Knowledge of the theory and application of magnetics (inductors, transformers) and capacitors (Electrolytic, film and Ceramic) used for power conversion
* Knowledge in control theory and sensor integration Requirements
* BS in Electrical engineering
* Minimum 3 years of experience that includes the following practical experience requirements
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working with 450
VAC/300
VDC or higher for at least 2 of the following types of power equipment:
Transformers, Rectifiers, Solid State Relays/IGBTs, 50+HP motors, Induction motors, Switchboards, Motor controllers such as variable frequency drives, inverters, and power monitors
* Minimum of 6 months of developing, updating, or executing test procedures for systems that include at least 2 of the types of power equipment listed above
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in testing or developing control systems associated with power generation, transmission, distribution, or conversion Preferred
* Minimum of 6 months of field experience in installing and testing or troubleshooting at least 2 of the types of power equipment listed above
