We are a team of restoration architects and structural engineers delivering projects that expand the functionality of buildings and facilities. We investigate, assess, and develop repair/rehabilitation designs for existing buildings. Our internship program provides a well-rounded experience on the various stages of project delivery as well as onsite construction observation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of design, construction documents, and solutions to building envelope rehabilitation projects
- Work with Project Managers or Inspectors to conduct on-site investigations, condition assessments, and construction observations, which may include documenting field notes, drawings and photographs
- Assist in preparation of designs, repair quantity calculations, sketches, diagrams and schematic drawings
- Research and maintain conformance with building standards, established architectural practices, and applicable building codes
- Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Currently enrolled in either a Master's degree program or completing a Bachelor's degree with intent to enroll in a Master's degree program in Architecture or related field
- Must be motivated, take initiative and have a curiosity & desire to learn
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge in Revit is preferred
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in team environment
- Interest in Architecture with a focus on rehabilitation of existing structures
