Design schematics and lay out PCBs within the approved device architecture Select components and approved alternatives from multiple suppliers, and maintain the BOM Bring up and debug prototypes on the bench through electrical, functional, and integration tests Close PCB iterations with the contract manufacturer, including DFM feedback, revisions, and documentation updates Document schematics, test results, and changes so the team and factory work from one current version Build the board from schematic to production files within the device architecture, through bring-up and PCB iterations, until it is ready for the first production batch Deliver schematics and PCBs that pass review and are approved for the next revision Bring up prototypes and document test results Close DFM iterations with the contract manufacturer without architecture rework Prepare the board for the first production batch and hand over the documentation package to the factory

5+ Years in electronic device development At least one product taken to mass production as a key hardware engineer Board-level circuit design experience with MCU/SoC, power, mixed-signal, and interfaces including I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and I2S Hands-on PCB layout in Altium Designer or comparable Allegro/Cadence experience, including multilayer boards, production-ready output, pick-and-place, and assembly drawings Bench bring-up and debugging experience using an oscilloscope and logic analyzer, including board-level fault finding and written documentation of results Hands-on contract manufacturer experience with DFM reviews, board revisions, and first batches Completed EVT/DVT stages, or equivalent, on at least one product EMC/ESD designed into routing and filtering from the first revision, not fixed on the final board Portfolio with photos of assembled boards, sample schematics and PCB layouts, and a description of the candidate’s role in each project English B1+ Будет плюсом: consumer device, wearable, or smart-device experience, work at the HW/FW boundary with an embedded firmware team, experience with manufacturers in Asia, preparation for FCC, CE, or equivalent certification before serial launch
