The VP, Finance ERP Implementation & Systems provides senior leadership for Eagle Bank's Finance ERP transformation, with primary accountability for the successful design, implementation, adoption, and stabilization of Workday Financials. The role leads the Finance workstream across accounting design, chart of accounts, data migration, process redesign, controls, integrations, testing, reporting, training, cutover, and go‑live readiness. Following implementation, the position transitions into Finance and Accounting as the enterprise systems owner for the ERP, accountable for platform governance, optimization, financial systems strategy, reporting enablement, and the ongoing alignment of technology with controllership and business priorities.
The successful candidate combines executive‑level program leadership, strong accounting and controllership knowledge, and hands‑on ERP implementation experience. The role serves as the primary connection among Finance, Accounting, Technology, EPMO, Risk, Internal Audit, business stakeholders, Workday, and the implementation partner, and provides clear decision support and escalation to executive governance.
Duties & Responsibilities Executive ERP Program Leadership
- Own the Finance ERP implementation from mobilization through stabilization, including scope, roadmap, milestones, resource planning, budget coordination, dependencies, risks, issues, and business outcomes.
- Lead the Finance and Accounting workstream and coordinate day‑to‑day execution across Workday, the implementation partner, Technology, EPMO, Risk, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders.
- Establish program governance, decision rights, design authority, escalation protocols, and executive reporting for the Finance ERP transformation.
- Provide clear recommendations to executive sponsors and governance committees on scope, design, risk, readiness, and key implementation decisions.
- Hold internal and external workstream leaders accountable for deliverables, quality, timelines, and resolution of cross‑functional dependencies.
- Lead the future‑state design of core Finance and Accounting capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, procurement, cash management, fixed assets, budgeting, close, consolidation, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Lead the cleanup, rationalization, and redesign of the chart of accounts, financial dimensions, reporting hierarchies, accounting rules, and supporting data structures.
