Operations Support Specialist - Naval Surface Warfare Center

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist to provide critical programmatic support for NSWCPD Code 104, which is responsible for Information Technology Operations Division, encompassing the Cybersecurity Program.

* Key Responsibilities:

* - Provide programmatic support by reviewing policies and directives and presenting detailed assessments.
- Develop and track metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, forms, and correspondence, adhering to the appropriate style guides.
- Manage filing systems and track man-hours/time to ensure accurate reporting and accountability.
- Arrange travel logistics, schedule meetings, and coordinate teleconferencing services.
- Utilize Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat to create and format documents, presentations, and reports.

Requirements

* Minimum Education:

* - Associate's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

* Minimum Experience:

* - A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing programmatic support, including reviewing policies and directives, and presenting assessments.
- Proficient in metrics development and tracking, with strong skills in word processing, filing, and preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
