Principal Scientist, Translational Clinical Biomarkers

Principal Scientist providing strategic biomarker leadership within cardiovascular, metabolic, infectious diseases, and vaccines portfolios, supporting early to late clinical development.

• develop integrated biomarker strategies aligned with therapeutic mechanisms, disease biology, and clinical endpoints;
• translate scientific hypotheses into decision-enabling approaches;
• interpret complex biomarker and clinical data;
• collaborate across Discovery, Clinical, Data Science, Regulatory, and Operations teams;
• mentor biomarker scientists and support scientific communications and publications.

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in translational medicine, biomarker science, or related field;
• extensive experience in translational/clinical biomarker strategy development in drug/vaccine development;
• strong understanding of disease mechanisms, pharmacodynamics, and clinical endpoints;
• proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment;
• excellent data analysis, scientific communication, and strategic planning skills.

• experience in cardiovascular, metabolic, infectious disease, or vaccine programs;
• familiarity with pharmacodynamic, predictive, or precision-medicine biomarkers;
• mentoring experience.

• leadership in biomarker development across clinical phases, focus on high-value, interpretable evidence, and integration of complex datasets to inform program decisions.

• hybrid remote, with approximately 10% travel.
