Gene Dx is a company that focuses on diagnostic testing services. The Director, Financial Systems will lead the financial systems team and partner with the Head of Operational Finance on strategy and process improvements across ERP, HRIS, reporting, close controls, and integrations.
What you'll do- Lead, coach, and prioritize the financial systems team across ERP, HRIS, reporting/BI, close/controls, and integration platforms
- Own production operations including month-end and quarter-end close support, ITSM ticket resolution, and coverage for critical processing windows
- Govern ERP and HRIS access controls, roles, permissions, segregation of duties, and user access reviews
- Lead internal and external audit support including control walkthroughs and evidence collection
- Administer the financial systems portfolio and integrations between ERP, iPaaS, HRIS, and GRC/audit tools
- Own the financial systems roadmap, projects, integrations, risks, decisions, milestones, and reporting to leadership
- Improve system performance through configuration, workflow design, automation, and approval process optimization
- Experience leading financial systems teams across ERP, HRIS, and reporting platforms
- Strong exposure to SOX/UAR processes and audit support
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end close processes and complex integrations
- Strategic mindset with track record of driving system improvements and roadmap ownership
- Technical skills in ERP and integration platforms, with ability to coach others
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
