IP LItigation Associate Attorney

Description

Our client a highly respected large law firm is currently seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney to join the team in Philadelphia, PA, or Pittsburgh, PA.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and associates on IP litigation cases, providing strategic counsel and representation to clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in patent litigation and demonstrate the ability to manage complex legal matters independently.

Responsibilities:

- Handle all phases of litigation, discovery, and preparing pleadings.

- Draft and argue substantive motions at both state and federal court levels.

- Conduct depositions and effectively represent clients in courtroom settings.

- Collaborate with partners and associates to develop case strategies and solutions.

- Communicate directly with clients to provide legal guidance and updates.

- Manage multiple active cases simultaneously with a high degree of competence.

- Mentor entry level associates and contribute to the growth of the team.

- Stay informed about developments in intellectual property law to provide cutting-edge representation.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in patent litigation.

- Proven experience in IP litigation cases.

- Strong academic credentials and exceptional drafting skills.

- Demonstrated expertise in legal research, writing, and analytical thinking.

- Ability to independently manage a diverse portfolio of active IP matters.

- Significant courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
