Job Details:

• Work 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shifts

• On-call requirements:
Up to 6 weekdays and 2 weekends per six-week schedule

• Weekend requirement includes on-call coverage

• Holiday requirement: 1 work holiday and 1 call holiday

• May float to GI unit or Center One Surgery Center

• Patient ratio: 1:1

• 40 hours of orientation required

• 3 years of experience required with Level I Trauma, Liver and Kidney experience

• BSN required

• Previous charge experience required

• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers

• PA or compact license required at time of submission

• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT

• Charting system:
Cerner

• Skills include:
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, ALIF, Anterior cervical fusion, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid procedures, Craniotomy, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, General OR, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Scrub Neurology surgery, Scrub Transplant Surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery, Trauma, XLIF, and circulating

• Work with adults only

• Daily census: 30 patients

• 14 operating rooms/beds available

• Handle all surgical procedures

• Work with all surgical equipment

• Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary

The facility features 14 operating rooms with state-of-the-art surgical equipment and maintains a daily census of 30 surgical cases. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support services and specializes in complex surgical procedures requiring highly skilled nursing professionals.

Adex Job  # . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
