Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Northeastern Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required, 12-hour orientation provided
Highlights:- Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department at a STEMI and Stroke Certified facility
- Trauma center experience preferred; excellent opportunity for nurses with diverse emergency care backgrounds
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- First-time travelers welcome; supportive orientation and onboarding process
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, radiology, and social services
- Care for all patient age groups from neonates through geriatrics with diverse case mix
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact license required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, MAB, and PALS
- TNCC certification preferred
- Demonstrated competency in isolation precautions and triage
- Experience with arterial line management, central line care, IV vasopressors, blood product administration, and ventilated patient care
- Proficiency in IV insertion and maintenance, interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs, and procedural sedation monitoring
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Pennsylvania state fingerprinting and childline clearances required
