American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse
- Operating Room for a Level I Trauma setting requiring PA or compact RN license and 3+ years of OR experience.

• Operating Room unit in a Level I Trauma hospital setting
• Night shift, 4x10 hour shifts (19:00-5:00)
• May float to GI unit or Center One Surgery Center
• 1 weekend shift worked and up to 6 weekday on-call shifts plus 2 weekend on-call shifts within a 6-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage required for Summer and Winter holidays
• Charting system:
  Cerner
• 1:1 patient ratio
• General OR, Trauma, and Orthopedic case coverage including gunshot/stab wounds, MVA (multiple injuries), spinal fusion, and total joint replacement

• Active RN license (PA or compact) required at time of consideration
• BSN required
• BLS and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Minimum 2-3 years of Level I Trauma experience and Trauma certification required
• Liver and kidney surgical experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Scrub and circulate experience preferred
• Experience with vascular, neurology, and orthopedic procedures such as AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, spinal fusion, and total joint replacement
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

• Provide scrub and circulating support across general OR, trauma, and orthopedic surgical cases
• No first-time travelers considered for this role
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a different rate
