Our client, a leader in plastics manufacturing and quality-driven production, is seeking a Quality Inspector (Product Specialist II) to join their team. As a Quality Inspector (Product Specialist II), you will be part of the Quality Department supporting production operations through product inspections, testing, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance that will contribute to the success of the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector (Product Specialist II)
Pay Range:$18-$23based off experience.
Shift: Nights, 7pm-7am
What's the Job?
- Measure Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) dimensions using metrology equipment and inspection techniques to confirm product conformity.
- Perform visual inspections for molding defects during production and after packaging, following Quality Inspection Plans and Visual Defect Guidelines.
- Complete final audits and approvals to verify packaging, labeling, and overall product conformity.
- Document discrepancies and production notes on Daily Production Reports (DPRs), and initiate/maintain Product Nonconformance Reports (PNRs) and containment actions as needed.
- Support quality system compliance by completing required quality documentation, maintaining sample retention cabinets and quality documentation files, and communicating quality concerns to the Quality Supervisor.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask while meeting deadlines.
- Strong math skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience or education in injection molding, plastics manufacturing, or quality control functions; OGP measurement systems preferred.
