Job Description Summary

This CRC position will support NIH-funded studies focused on improving the implementation of allergy testing and allergen mitigation among adults with persistent asthma. Under the supervision of Dr. Gleeson, the coordinator will assist with preparation of study materials, coordination with clinical sites, screening and recruitment of participants, informed consent, administration of questionnaires, home visits, qualitative interviews, and data entry. The CRC will support participant-facing and operational aspects of the K23 research program, including coordination across clinical settings and maintenance of accurate study documentation.

Job Description

This is a primarily onsite, participant-facing Clinical Research Coordinator position supporting NIH-funded studies focused on improving allergy testing and allergen mitigation among adults with persistent asthma. The CRC will coordinate clinical research activities including study start-up support, participant screening and recruitment, informed consent, scheduling, administration of questionnaires, data collection, data entry, regulatory documentation, and maintenance of accurate study records. The CRC will also support qualitative research activities, including scheduling and conducting semi-structured interviews with patients and providers and organizing audio recordings/transcripts for analysis.

The position will coordinate home-visit procedures with study partners, document home environmental assessments and allergen mitigation needs, support delivery of protocolized informational resources, and communicate regularly with the PI, study team, clinical sites, and home-visit collaborators.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience
