Job Description Summary

Clinical Research Coordinator A will be responsible for the screening, recruitment and enrollment of study participants and the administration of study measures during study visits; will conduct in-home and on-site study visits; assist in data entry, coding of interviews, and preparation of data summaries and reports; participate in weekly study progress meetings with the PI and research team.

Clinical Research Coordinator A will be responsible for the screening, recruitment and enrollment of study participants and the administration of study measures during study visits; will conduct in-home and on-site study visits; assist in data entry, coding of interviews, and preparation of data summaries and reports; participate in weekly study progress meetings with the PI and research team.

CRC A will coordinate IRB submissions and renewals in accordance with FDA and IRB guidelines, assure compliance with the protocol and regulatory requirements including collecting, recording, and maintaining data and source documentations. Promote good clinical practice in the conduct of clinical investigations, including possessing an in-depth knowledge of the federal regulations and guidance documents for the conduct of clinical studies and human subject protection.

Position is contingent on funding.

Job

Responsibilities include:

  • Talking to participants to determine interest in participating in research
  • Verbally walking participants through consent procedures
  • Administering study protocol
  • Entering data in study data set
  • Distributing study recruitment materials
  • Traveling between study visits
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level. Internal organization and peer data at Penn are also considered.
