Pure Mathematics Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer Project

Meridial seeks a theoretical mathematics expert to contribute high quality mathematical training data for AI. This freelance role focuses on constructing and evaluating complex proofs, validating reasoning, and translating material into Lean 4 syntax, supporting researchers and engineers globally.

• Construct and evaluate complex proofs in pure mathematics
• Ensure mathematical reasoning is correct, rigorous, and clearly articulated
• Translate material into Lean 4 syntax and verify Lean code
• Collaborate to refine prompts, evaluation frameworks, and benchmarks
• Engage with advanced topics across probability, analysis, algebra, and category theory

• Lean 4 fluency with in progress or recent PhD or Post Doc experience in pure mathematics
• Strong foundation in core areas such as measure theory, functional analysis, optimization, and category theory
• Ability to articulate reasoning and proof strategies clearly
• Experience with probabilistic inequalities and convergence theorems
• Comfort translating mathematical material into executable Lean code

• Remote work available worldwide; the listing targets global contractors; confirm any location constraints before interviewing
• Pay is hourly with a range of $35 to $65 per hour; final offer depends on experience and location
