Our client is an established manufacturer in the building materials sector introducing a new insulation product to the North American market. The organization is focused on advancing sustainable construction practices while maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.
The Role:
We are hiring a Field Education Specialist to provide product training, technical demonstrations, and field support for contractors, installers, and other industry professionals. This position works closely with sales, marketing, and building science teams to ensure customers are confident in using the company's insulation products and have access to the technical resources they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct product training sessions and workshops for distributors, dealers, and industry professionals.
- Provide on-site product demonstrations and jobsite support.
- Assist contractors, specifiers, and installers with technical questions and troubleshooting.
- Partner with sales leadership on customer visits and field outreach across the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Work with building science and R&D teams to provide feedback and technical assistance.
- Respond to technical inquiries via phone and email.
- Support marketing activities through coordinated events and outreach.
- Share field insights to help guide product development and customer support tools.
- Practical understanding of building science and field construction practices.
- Knowledge of insulation products and installation methods.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to review architectural specifications and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with building forensics, energy retrofits, and code requirements.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing field conditions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Building science credentials or related technical training.
- 3+ years of experience in building materials or related industries.
- Experience building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Exposure to marketing initiatives or field event support.
- Knowledge of regional energy efficiency or weatherization programs.
