The OpportunityWe’re looking for a results-oriented, entrepreneurial Senior Account Executive with strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for sales and business development. You’ll own a territory end to end—learning your prospects’ strategic priorities, crafting effective outreach, and leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. This role is highly visible and plays a key part in shaping the company’s future while making a real impact in education.
Whatyou’ll do
- Work closely with CRO to target, map, and execute prospecting strategies within your territory
- Drive daily outbound activity via phone, email, and social to book introductory meetings, while also cultivating executive-level relationships and referral networks
- Lead prospect presentations and manage complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities from first contact through close
- Build, manage, and forecast a healthy, sizable sales pipeline with precision
- Travel 1–3 times per quarter for trade shows and on-site meetings
- Act as a trusted advisor and industry expert, clearly articulating the value EdSights provides to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Several years of sales experience, including 5+ years in a closing role, ideally selling into complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
- Consistent, top-tier track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and close enterprise or institutional-level deals
- Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resilience and consistency in a results-driven environment
- Strong time management, organizational, and pipeline-forecasting skills
- Passion for learning, growth, and making an impact in education
- Experience in or selling into the higher education market
- Experience managing sales cycles of 3+ months
