Sales Development Representative

Web Design Awards is hiring a Sales Development Representative to build and grow our pipeline of agencies, studios, and design teams interested in our awards, hiring board, and sponsored placement products like Company Spotlight. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, qualifying inbound interest and proactively reaching out to studios and design teams who could benefit from our submission, listing, and spotlight products.

• Prospect and generate qualified leads among design agencies, studios, and in-house design teams through outbound email, Linked In, and other channels
• Respond to and qualify inbound interest from agencies browsing submissions, job listings, or spotlight packages
• Book qualified meetings and demos for the sales or partnerships team
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospect activity and pipeline status in the CRM
• Research target accounts to personalize outreach and identify the right decision-makers
• Collaborate with marketing to follow up on campaign leads and content downloads

• Prior experience in a sales development, business development, or outbound sales role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with high-volume outreach and a consistent, organized follow-up cadence
• Experience using a CRM (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) to track and manage pipeline
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently against targets
• Interest in or familiarity with the design, agency, or creative industry

• Experience selling to marketing agencies, design studios, or creative teams
• Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft)
