Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide professional customer service. Use your communication and technology skills to report security-related concerns while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking locations, building perimeters, and other assigned spaces.

+ Monitor for unauthorized access, unusual activity, property concerns, and security-related conditions, and report observations through required communication and documentation channels.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.

+ Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while providing a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortably use a computer or tablet, preferred.

+

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
