JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a HVAC Project Manager (PM) with commercial experience. The PM will provide oversight of the project.

Philadelphia Navy Yard (also known as the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, (PNBC).
Hours of Operation: 0700 to 1600, five days per week, Monday through Friday, except observed Federal holidays.
Scope:
The Program / Project Manager (PM) will have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to the contract. Provide overall onsite management for HVAC equipment and system maintenance services, to include boiler systems, chillers and chilled water systems, cooling towers, control systems and exhaust fans, for all equipment located at various NSWCPD Government buildings. This contract includes approximately one thousand one hundred (1,100) pieces of HVAC equipment located among sixteen (16) NSWCPD buildings.
Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostic Service Visits, Corrective Maintenance Level I Repairs, and Corrective Maintenance Level II Repairs. Must have commercial experience.
Overall, Scope:
The HVAC Service Project Manager is responsible for overseeing / managing a team of technicians to ensure the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatics and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing and mechanical layouts. Testing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems for leaks. Performing routine maintenance. Repairing and replacing components for entire heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment. The HVAC Technician, or a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician, installs and repairs various air quality systems. Main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services, and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items. Responsibilities include monitoring and servicing systems, diagnosing problems, and troubleshooting equipment, running tests and completing reports, updating and improving existing systems, and repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
Perform life-cycle maintenance and servicing on cooling towers, chill water pumps,
By-pass valves, flow switches, and chemical feed devices. Perform work involved in the repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of heating systems to include gas fired boilers up to 2 million British Thermal Units (BTHUs), forced air furnaces, radiant gas heaters, and electric heating systems. Perform repair, overhaul, maintenance, and service commercial split systems to include fan coil units, mini splits, variable air volume systems, variable refrigerant volume systems, and direct expansion units with up to 200 tons of cooling capacity.
Perform work involved in the repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of large industrial air conditioning systems and equipment (i.e., motors, compressors, purge units, expansion valves, solenoid valves, motor cooling systems, transducers, etc.
- Preventative Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to a variety of commercial HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, pumps and BAS systems
- 5 plus years in commercial HVAC
- Organization and attention to detail ability to work efficient.
- Create and assist with quotes for client.
- Comply with applicable standards, polices or procedures, such as PPE, safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate information sharing, scheduling, work order write ups, quotes and e-mail.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or University and/or Experience, Five (5) years of experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment and systems. Have Project Manager experience, to include contract and sub-contract management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, and progress. OSHA-10 certification EPA universal certification. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products and HVAC reports.
