Full‑Time

• Receiving, docketing, and processing cases for the District Court.
• Filing and recording case pleadings.
• Issuing process as required following established procedures.
• Setting hearings, maintaining the court calendar, and handling receipts and disbursements.
• Assisting in docket preparation and completing judicial reports.
• Providing information and assistance to judiciary, members of the bar, law enforcement agencies, DCF, and the public by phone and in person.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District Court.

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of clerical or legal experience preferred.
• Knowledge of modern office practices and computer programs.
• Professional maturity, time management, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and professionally with judges, court personnel, staff, the public, and external stakeholders.
