Van Cleef Engineering Associates, LLC is a dynamic, multi‑disciplined consulting civil engineering firm of Engineers, Certified Inspectors, Landscape Architects, Planners and Land Surveyors. With offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, we provide expertise in all major areas of civil engineering, municipal engineering, municipal planning, and land surveying.

Our Phillipsburg, NJ office has an immediate opening for a Mid‑level Highway Design / Hydraulics & Hydrology Engineer to work with designers on roadway, bridge and infrastructure projects for the firm's government clients. This is a full‑time, immediate opportunity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• EIT and PE are a plus.
• 5+ years of highway engineering and/or H&H experience preferred.
• Experience with NJDOT, county, and/or NJ municipal clients is a plus.
• Proficiency in hydrology & hydraulic analysis, drainage, and erosion control design.
• Experience preparing New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection permit applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and technical writing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

$97,000 – $156,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
