We are hiring a Long‑Term Care Cook responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious and appealing meals to residents in a long‑term care facility. The role requires understanding each resident’s dietary requirements, following recipes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The cook is expected to contribute to a positive dining experience and collaborate with the kitchen team to provide high‑quality meals.

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations.
• Experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a long‑term care facility or similar setting.
• Familiarity with special diets (low‑sodium, diabetic, pureed, etc.).
• Strong cooking skills and understanding of various cooking techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude when interacting with residents.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
