Job Description
As a Sr Accountant here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making within the organization. You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the financial health of the company by ensuring accurate financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience working with SAP tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Process Oriented with Excellent Problem Solving Skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Continuous learning mindset with a passion for staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
