About the Role
American Dental Companies is looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our corporate team in North Phoenix. This is a full-time, in-office position ideal for recent or soon-to-be accounting graduates who want hands‑on experience across the full accounting cycle. You'll work on revenue accounting, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting-while building a strong foundation for career growth.
What You'll Do
- Assist with month‑end close: journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules
- Support revenue processes and analysis
- Help manage accounts payable and vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Prepare internal financial reports and presentations
- Participate in audits and strengthen internal controls
- Collaborate with teams across multiple states to resolve accounting issues
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or graduating within 6 months)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable with financial data
- Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
