Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant, under the direction of the Controller, will be an integral part of the accounting process and will be responsible for working with multiple department leads and 3rd parties, ensuring accurate reporting.

The right candidate for this role has a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and is comfortable reviewing financial statements.

Responsibilities include:

• Review completed financial statements
• Prepare internal reports for leadership
• Reporting and analysis
• Prepare reconciliations and accruals
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain financial reports, records, and data
• Partner with multiple department leads and 3rd parties to create accurate data and information for reporting purposes
• Ad hoc reporting
• Additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
• A minimum of 1 year of general accounting experience and familiarity with financial statements is essential to this role.
• Microsoft Office 365 experience required including experience working with Excel
