Compensation:$130,000–$150,000basesalary+10% bonus

Duetosteadygrowthandinternalrestructuring,theyarehiringone—possibly two—Controllerstohelpoverseeabusyregionalstructure.

We’vealreadyplacedfourprofessionalsontheiraccountingteamthisyear,allofwhomwerehiredduetoexpansion.

Thisisahigh-impact,visiblerolewithstrongcollaborationacrossoperations,sales,HR,andsharedservices.

Reportingdirectlytothe

VPofAccounting,thisindividualwillstepintoanevolvingenvironmentwherestructureisstillbeingbuilt.

Theidealcandidateenjoysbringingordertochaos,hasstrongtechnicalskills,andthrivesinless-than-perfect systems.

• Leadthemonthlycloseprocess,reconciliations,andfinancialreporting
• Supportannualauditprocessesandpreparerelevanttaxandauditschedules
• Implementandenforceaccountingpolicies,procedures,andinternalcontrols
• Supportrevenuerecognitionusing Percentage of Completion (POC)606
• Performprojectcostanalysis,includingstandardcostingandvariancetracking
• Partnerwithcross-functionalteamstoimproveaccountingworkflowsandreporting
• Helpintegratefinancialprocessesacrossmultipleentities(6+companies involved)
• Workwithinamultidimensionalstructure(multi-location,department,and project-based)
• Helpscaleaccountingsystems—Sage Intaccthighlydesired;

• Bachelor'sdegreein

• 5–7+ years in senior accounting or controller roles within distribution, manufacturing, or construction
• Strongtechnicalaccountingskillsingeneralledger,balance sheets,andstandardcosting
• Expertiseinprojectaccountingandrevenuerecognition(POC

• Experiencemanagingorcontributingtoaccountingfor $150M+inrevenuepreferred
• Backgroundwithlarger,structuredorganizationsisideal,butmustbeadaptabletoambiguity
• Publicaccountingexperienceisaplus
