Senior Accountant

Vaco is seeking a Senior Accountant in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona!

• Partner with leadership and financial reporting teams to deliver assigned initiatives and support the development of SEC and other required regulatory reporting schedules.
• Record and review accounting activity, including journal postings, accrual calculations, transaction reviews, targeted accounting research, and special projects as needed.
• Maintain adherence to SOX requirements, internal controls, established company policies, and applicable banking and regulatory standards.

• CPA license and at least 2 years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Required)
• Supervisory experience at an SEC registrant, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Willingness to go 4 days on site
• Salary $100-115k
