Accounting Lead Consultant

Vaco is seeking a seasoned Accounting Lead to join our team as a Consultant. In this role, you'll play a key role in managing the company’s financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and excellent leadership skills.

Location:

Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)
Pay Rate: $55- $65 per hour (depending on experience)
Project Length:
Approx. 3 - 6 months

• Oversee and contribute to daily accounting functions and month-end close processes
• Lead a team of accounting professionals
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures

• Ad hoc projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience in an accounting leadership position
• Strong skillset in Excel and other ERP software
• Commitment to duration and needs of project
