Staff Accountant

Direct Hire | $70,000 - $85,000 + Bonus

In this role, you will:
  • Manage day-to-day general ledger (GL) accounting activities
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Analyze financial statements and perform variance analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Industry experience in distribution, trucking, transportation, or a related field
  • Hands-on knowledge of lease and rental accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a strong focus on month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
