Position OverviewLedgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking a dedicated detail-oriented and well-tenured Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a well-established industry leader with a strong focus on employee well-being and success.
Responsibilities- Accurately process and code invoices, ensuring proper approvals and compliance.
- Manage a full book of payables and weekly vendor payments to maintain optimal cash flow.
- Oversee procurement card charges, employee expenses, and per diem funding requests.
- Handle invoice intake via electronic systems and maintain organized digital records.
- Resolve vendor and employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed spreadsheets for GL accounts, including fixed assets, insurance, and prepaid items.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and provide ad hoc reporting.
- Support monthly close processes and other responsibilities as needed.
- Proven experience in high-volume Accounts Payable environments (500+ invoices/week).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, MS Dynamics, Great Plains, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines a MUST!
Monday to Friday, first shift.
