At Synergy CPA Tax & Financial Services, we’re building the next generation of accountants, financial professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. This internship is designed for students who want real business experience—not just office work.

You’ll work alongside experienced CPAs, financial professionals, and business leaders while learning how to grow a professional services firm. Our interns don’t simply observe—they take initiative, create value, and contribute to business growth.

Outstanding interns may transition into full‑time positions after graduation, with opportunities to become future managers, partners, or business owners.

As a Business Development & Finance Intern, you will take ownership of projects that contribute directly to the growth of our company.

You will:

• Build relationships with prospective clients through networking, referrals, community outreach, and professional events.
• Present educational workshops on tax, accounting, financial planning, college planning, and business topics under professional guidance.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute directly to increasing company revenue.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including social media, digital marketing, seminars, and community events.
• Generate and follow up on prospective client leads while building long‑term professional relationships.
• Recruit and develop future team members by identifying talented individuals and introducing them to career opportunities within our organization.
• Take ownership of client communication and ensure an exceptional client experience.
• Work on tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and financial planning projects with experienced professionals.
• Lead special projects that improve business operations, client satisfaction, and company growth.
• Develop leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and entrepreneurial skills.
• Learn how successful CPA firms and financial services businesses are built, managed, and scaled.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

• Accounting
• Finance
• Business Administration
• Economics
• Marketing
• or a related field

• Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Willingness to learn, lead, and take initiative

• Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese or Taiwanese or Spanish
• Customer service, sales, or leadership experience
• Interest in entrepreneurship, public speaking, and business development
