Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a well-established and growing company to add a Senior Accountant to the team.

The Senior Accountant will take ownership of key accounting functions, improve processes, support strategic initiatives, and partner with leaders across the business. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.
• Support revenue recognition and accounting under ASC 606.
• Assist with M&A, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration.
• Perform consolidations across multiple entities, locations, or business units.
• Support external audits and respond to auditor requests.
• Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Participate in special projects and strategic accounting initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Senior-level accounting experience.
• ASC 606 Revenue accounting experience.
• Experience with M&A, purchase accounting, consolidations, or multi-entity accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Net Suite or Black Line experience.
• CPA, CPA eligibility, MBA, or another advanced credential.
• Exposure to system implementations, accounting integrations, or process improvement initiatives.
