The Grants Auditor in the Arizona Governor's Office reviews subgrantee budgets, invoices, and contract materials for compliance with federal and state grant regulations. The role provides fiscal oversight across multiple federal funding sources, conducts monitoring visits, and offers technical assistance to subgrantees. This full-time position is located in Phoenix with remote options available.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and/or equivalent job-related experience
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, rules, and regulations related to public programs
- Ability to analyze records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with grant regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with accounting, auditing, or grant management processes preferred
