Payroll Clerk

Remote (Based at an approved local secure facility). We work US time zones and ask that you're available during those hours, even if that means adjusting your schedule.

This role exists to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, every pay period. The work is primarily asynchronous, with updates and coordination handled through written communication. The team is distributed across multiple countries. Structured processes guide every payroll cycle, and precision is required at each step. The person in this role works independently once trained on our procedures and systems.

• Process full payroll cycles accurately within strict pay-period deadlines.
• Prepare and verify W-2 forms and year-end tax reporting documents.
• Enter and maintain payroll data with a zero-error standard.
• Apply current tax regulations using compliance software during each processing cycle.
• Protect confidential payroll and employee data according to established access rules.

• Experience with full-cycle payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail in data entry with minimal errors.
• Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential payroll and employee information.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Payroll and Quick Books.
• Strong written English — our company works in English.
