Monetary Metals is searching for a mission-aligned individual to support the CEO in the capture, organization, and execution of his responsibilities. In the capacity of speaking on behalf of the CEO as his delegate, the role requires a willingness to act as an agent rather than as a principal.
Monetary Metals is at a growth inflection point, and offers this opportunity to an ambitious self-starter, energized by the fast‑paced schedule and intense workload characteristic of the CEO of a high‑growth company. Working closely with the CEO in this role will provide the opportunity to acquire the training, institutional knowledge, and personal and professional growth to prepare to jump into a leadership position at Monetary Metals.
Keyresponsibilities
- Travel with the CEO (up to 50% required)
- Understand the CEO’s business context, areas of focus, and active projects
- Capture, organize and manage CEO task list, calendar, and travel logistics
- Track expected responses to the CEO from members of the team and outside parties
- Assist CEO with email organization and responses
- Manage the inbox and outbox as a delegate
- Attend meetings and take notes with special attention to CEO action items and next steps
- Vet people and businesses prior to booking interviews or meetings with CEO
- Work the hours that the CEO is working, including multi‑month international trips
- When not on travel with the CEO, adjust working hours to coincide with his current time zone
- Manage the CEO’s calendar
- Prepare CEO expense reports
- Organize and file signed documents
- Other duties as assigned to maintain CEO office functions
- Must live within a 30 min commute to the main office
- Must have a bachelor’s degree
- Must have 2 yrs work experience
- Must have well developed prioritization and multitasking abilities
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must have a high EQ and possess a keen sense of discretion in handling confidential matters
- Direct experience working with a C‑suite executive is a plus
- Fluent in Microsoft Office
- Must have current passport and have vaccinations required by the US and certain foreign jurisdictions (including Covid)
- Negotiable base salary depending on experience
