Legal Workflow Coordinator - 3rd Shift (Hybrid)
RR Donnelley is adding a Legal Document Specialist to their team!
In this role, we are seeking a Word Processing professional to support time‑sensitive project requests by working with a team across multiple shifts and locations. Candidates must produce quality work and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Knowledge in legal word/document processing using various legal software and tools, Microsoft Office suite is an added advantage.

Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday 11pm-7:30am
Hourly Pay: $22.42 per hour, plus a $3/hr shift premium.
Responsibilities- Create, edit, and format legal documents to firm specifications using a variety of applications.
- Convert, clean, and format documents from different file formats.
- Create charts, graphs, tables, and spreadsheets as requested.
- Create and/or edit Tables of Authorities and Table of Contents.
- Perform data entry utilizing various software applications.
- Transcribe analog or digital dictation files.
- Restore/recover corrupted document files as necessary.
- Provide telephone help desk support to troubleshoot application queries.
- Complete all assigned jobs by the deadline accurately and timely.
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
- Follow established policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform additional duties as necessary or assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work through complex legal document markups and instructions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to prioritize various requests and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to interact with client and team members in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in legal word processing or document production environment preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience and exposure to legal word processing tasks such as creating TOAs, TOCs, inserting automated cross‑references, converting PDFs to Word, applying Word styles using macros, troubleshooting problem documents including redlines, multi‑numbering schemes, style separators, cross‑references, and other automated fields.
- Transcription experience a plus.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal citations preferred.
Additional Information
The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $19.19/hour. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call‑in, and/or stand‑by pay.
