Courtesy Chevrolet's Recon Center is seeking a Used Car Mechanic/Lube Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for providing efficient and high‑quality vehicle maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience at an automotive dealership, a strong understanding of the service drive, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following below, as well as other responsibilities as needed.

• Perform work specified on Repair Orders
• Test drive vehicles, components and systems
• Diagnose, maintain, and perform repairs
• Inspect and communicate oil levels to teammates
• Verify and adjust tire pressure for proper inflation
• Conduct refills of fluid levels as necessary
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter during oil change procedures
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed to ensure optimal performance
• Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing our customer’s perspective

• Previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong understanding of the service drive
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand‑eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, and a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre‑employment drug screen and background check
