OverviewThe Crisis and Resiliency Center Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to incidents that threaten the life safety of US Foods employees and continuity of operations. This includes coordinating key communication during times of crisis.
The position is 100% onsite at our Phoenix, AZ location and works day shift Sunday – Tuesday – 12 hour days, and a half day on Wednesday – 6 hours.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze information on events (e.g., natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, civil unrest) for potential risks to US Foods associates and operations.
- Monitor US Foods assets and associates against potential threats, including the entire distribution network, transportation fleet, offices, and employees.
- Serve as the point of contact for associates reporting incidents or seeking aid.
- Create and distribute crisis and resilience services (e.g., emergency notifications, advisories, intelligence briefs) on actionable intelligence to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate the response, activating crisis management and business continuity teams for business disruptions and crisis events.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external entities (law enforcement, suppliers, emergency responders) during a business disruption or crisis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Inside office:
The associate performs responsibilities in a US Foods office-based environment.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong skills in gathering and analyzing data from varied sources, evaluating accuracy, relevance, and trends.
- Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, work independently, and meet objectives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication, collaborating with peers and management and interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Clear, concise communication in written reports and verbal presentations to decision‑makers.
- Decisive action under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, crisis management, business continuity, intelligence studies, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience may include military positions involving intelligence gathering and analysis.
- Experience working with law enforcement, government agencies, or industry groups.
- Experience supporting Crisis Management and/or business continuity programs.

CompensationCompensation is based on relevant experience and/or education and other factors. The expected base rate for this role is between $55,000 – $90,000
